Worker Bee’s – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Worker Bee’s platform,
including Worker Bee’s Philly (collectively, “Worker Bee’s,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing
or using our website, mobile services, or related offerings (the “Platform”), you agree to be
bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Platform Overview

Worker Bee’s is a short-term job matching platform connecting individuals seeking temporary
work (“Bees,” “Workers”) with individuals or businesses seeking short-term assistance (“Hives,”
“Employers”). Worker Bee’s does not employ Workers, does not act as an employer, and does
not set wages, hours, or employment terms.

All work arrangements are independently agreed upon between Hives and Bees.

 

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information

• Maintain and update your profile as needed

• Keep login credentials secure

• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

Worker Bee’s may suspend or terminate accounts for false information, misuse, or violations of these Terms.

3. User Roles

• Bees (Workers): Individuals offering short-term services

• Hives (Employers): Individuals or businesses posting short-term job opportunities

Your role is determined by your completed profile and subscription status.

 

4. Communication Consent (SMS & Email)

By creating an account and completing your profile, you expressly consent to receive
transactional communications from Worker Bee’s, including but not limited to:

• Job match notifications

• Application updates

• Job status alerts

• Account-related messages

• Platform announcements

These communications may be delivered via:

• Email

• SMS/Text Message

• In-platform notifications

SMS Consent

By providing a phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages related to your account and
job activity.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any message, or

• Updating your communication preferences in your account settings

Opting out of SMS may limit your ability to receive real-time job notifications

5. Consent to Share Profile & Contact Information

To facilitate effective job matching, you authorize Worker Bee’s to share relevant profile and
contact information with matched users, including:

• Name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Location / ZIP code

• Skills and availability

• Job-related notes you voluntarily provide
   

Information Sharing Scope

• Information is shared only when a match, application, or job interaction occurs

• Shared solely for the purpose of initiating and completing short-term work
  arrangements

• Worker Bee’s does not sell personal data to third parties

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that communication between Bees and Hives may
occur outside the Platform once contact details are exchanged.

6. Employment Relationship Disclaimer

Worker Bee’s is not a party to any employment or contractor agreement.
You acknowledge that:

• Worker Bee’s does not verify employment eligibility, tax status, or labor classification

• Compensation, payment method, work conditions, and expectations are determined solely
  between Hive and Bee

• Worker Bee’s is not responsible for disputes, non-payment, cancellations, injuries, or
  performance issues

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable labor, tax, and employment laws.

7. User Conduct & Professional Standards

All users agree to:

• Act professionally, respectfully, and lawfully

• Provide truthful job listings and profiles

• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior

Worker Bee's reserves the right to suspend or remove users who violate conduct standards.

8. Fees, Plans & Payments

Some services may require payment, including:

• Subscription plans

• Pay-per-post job listings

All fees are disclosed prior to purchase.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.

Refunds, if any, are governed by our Refund Policy.

9. Reviews & Feedback

Users may submit reviews following completed jobs.

Reviews must be truthful and professional. Worker Bee’s may remove reviews that are abusive, false, or violate policy.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is collected, used, and protected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Worker Bee’s shall not be liable for:

• Employment disputes

• Lost wages or business opportunities

• Personal injury or property damage

• User misconduc

• Communication or payment failures

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Worker Bee’s from any claims, damages, or liabilities
arising from:

• Your use of the Platform

• Your interactions with other users

• Violations of these Terms

13. Modifications to Terms

Worker Bee’s may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes
constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard
to conflict-of-law principles.
